Easter and The First Day of Spring
Hello students!
It is the long weekend of Easter.
For Christians in the world, this is their most important holiday.
Here are some important words that you will see in your city:
1. resurrection
2. crucifixion
3. Jesus Christ
for the non-Christian population, there is the Easter Bunny....
Where does the tradition of giving eggs come from and what does it mean?
All good questions.... come to class and ask questions to find out the answers.
We are closed on Easter Monday but classes start again on Wednesday April 3rd at 5:00 p.m.
We are located at:
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
address:
10060 Bramalea Road
(across from the hospital)
Go to the parking lot on west side just at the intersection of Peter Robertson and Bramalea Road
You will see our sign outside the building in the parking lot
Come into the building and go to the classroom on the left side
A big thank you to the Church for donating this space for the volunteer teachers to continue to give English lessons to the newcomers in Peel Region.
